Edward Southwick, Certified Family Life Educator and author of “The 10 Habits of Happy People”, has taught thousands of people how to improve their happiness and overall life quality. Edward has been a business owner, broker, and consultant for over 30 years, and is able to offer his varied experience in applying powerful happiness concepts/methods in real world situations.
Edward believes that everyone should have the huge advantage of understanding the happiness thinking, attitudes and actions of the happiest people (he interviewed over 50 exceptionally happy people during a 15 year period). He also teaches "50% of Age Super Health" and is an amazing example of it (see video below).
Edward offers classes, speeches and personal coaching on the concepts, thinking, methods and life styles of these happy people which he has obtained not only from the 57 happy people he has interviewed but from hundreds of happiness research papers, books, and his own personal experience. He has done extensive coaching in relationships and also teaches insightful and impactful information on how to obtain "Super Health" and start feeling and performing more like you're 50% of your age.
Edward moved to Japan in the 1980s and has spent over 15 total years living there while operating several businesses including an English school, business consulting and happiness classes. He also acts as a real estate broker from time to time and sold almost $50 million during one period in 1989/1990 (although he notes that even with the many large and regular $100,000 plus commissions he didn't feel happy or satisifed at that time-- not until seriously following his own happiness program shortly after).
Edward also had his own 15 minute weekly radio program (Edward's Anything Goes English) and appeared as a semi-regular commentator on a very popular prime time television show called "The Strange Habits of the Japanese" (Koko ga Hen da yo Nihongin). He did many speeches and classes on happiness including regular seminars across Japan for San Marie, the 2nd largest match making service in Japan. He also wrote a column on relationships for Lycos Japan along with other Japanese celebrities which then became the most popular Japanese dating/relationship site in Japan.
Now having moved back to the United States and mostly finished with his other businesses, Edward is passionately devoting much of his time to teaching these powerful life improving happiness concepts and methods.
